Our Story

Aloha, I am Sariah Mokuahi, the owner and creator of Kalei Creations. I am from Wailua, Kauaʻi and now call Texas my second home. Kalei Creations officially started in April 2025 shortly after I moved to Texas and heard about the North Pacific Polynesian Fest that was accepting craft vendors. Prior to moving I had the business idea, but kept putting it to the side or telling myself it wasn’t the right time. This event was the push I needed to take a leap of faith and I've been rolling with it ever since.

The name Kalei Creations comes from my middle name which was given to me after my tūtū. Kalei means "the lei" in Hawaiian and is also used as a term of love and endearment, meaning the beloved child, husband, wife, loved one. When I think of cards, words of encouragement, selfless giving, and pretty things - I think of my tūtū. Through my products and brand, I strive to reflect her spirit of generosity and inspire meaningful connections to ourselves, those around us, and those who have come before and will come after us.

Mahalo for supporting and joining me on my business journey!
